VINTAGE EARLY MARTIN HANDCRAFT IMPERIAL #2 Bore Bb JAZZ TRUMPET !
OVERHAULED WITH NEW SILVER PLATE AND GOLD WASH BELL !
Kind of like getting vintage horn but towards new horn .

Selling early Martin Handcraft Imperial #12xxxx . These horns were made prior to Committee models. This one Is from late 1930s and is still kicking great !
This is a pro model horn.
Horn has been completely newly plated, cleaned and has new forks and felts. It’s been plated by the renowned platers in Virginia , USA .
This horn is in an awesome shape with minor imperfections , small nicks below plating ( no dents or dings ) expected for a horn of this vintage. Bell letters / logo / engraving are fully readable and visible which is also a sign of no over buffing. Please see all photos ! This horn plays great and has easy upper register and is flying all over the range most likely due to the medium #2 bore which can be always pushed to the limits. This horn inspires to play and it’s been only play tested by myself pro player ! I would keep it but I already own too any horns which I’m also selling ...
Everything is clean and shinning. Valves compression is very good and valves are very smooth and fast. 3rd slide has rubber bumpers so moves quietly or you can completely stop by the stopper. Stopper screw is a Bach screw which also has a rubber stopper which prevents it from unscrewing. Upon further examination of the horn is found one very small and expertly done protective a very small patch on the connection of top curve of the tuning slide. It’s really expertly done and not very noticeable unless looked for but worth mentioning . This horn is very straight and ready for an action either at home or stage.  Don’t miss out this great early Martin perfect Jazz Horn. Ps lyre holder with screw on 3rd slide is perfectly working if you wish to use the horn outdoors and have a lyre for it. Don’t miss .
Trumpet comes with vintage 1970s era Yamaha case with blue interior in good shape and very good exterior , latches , handle. Horn fits in it very well and it’s not moving once it’s in sitting position .
