A Wee Forest Folk mouse begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family
The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality. Wee Forest Folk began as a cottage industry in 1972 and it continues to this day.
Wee Forest Folk Display Plaque, Copyright 1983, designed, sculpted, hand-painted, and signed by Annette Petersen. This Wee Forest Folk Display Plaque features 5 adorable mice holding a banner with their namesake. Centered behind them are a series of cottages, complete with a tiny door on the back. Measures approximately 2"x 3" Please refer to pictures for viewing.This piece, used for display purposes only, is in excellent excellent used condition, with no flaws. It's pristine and like new
