Vintage Taxco MRR Perlita .925 STERLING SOUP TUREEN, LID, and LADLE, Mexico

Beautiful vintage scalloped large soup tureen with matching lid and ladle. This piece was manufactured in Mexico by MRR Taxco Perlita. It is .925 Sterling Silver, as marked. This vintage piece has not been cleaned or altered. It was my husband's grandmother's and I did not want to alter it in any way at all. Although I do not know the exact age of this piece, his grandmother was born in 1910 and married in 1928, so I would imagine it was perhaps a wedding gift, or a donation to her dowry. Sadly, I cannot get this information! I have based this pricing on recommendations of a local jeweler, who is not an expert, but very helpful!
According to my calculations, it is 57 troy ounces of silver. It weighs approximately 1766 grams, with the lid on it and the ladle inside. It is in beautiful vintage condition and has been stored for many many years! Shipped USPS insured Priority Mail.
