    1954 Holton Model 48 Trumpet
    Serial # 267085
    This is a 67 year old trumpet that Holton described as an
    overall versatile professional trumpet.  Being 67 years old the trumpet has several cosmetic blemishes. There are pings, surface scratches , pitting and expected wear. The valves and slides are free and functional.  Included is a vintage Conn case of the same vintage.  The case also shows wear but is structurally sound with working latches and a solid handle.
    The original mouthpiece receiver was changed so the trumpet would accept a large sample of mouthpieces but included is the original receiver.
