The Links Presidents Cup 1968 Trophy Ensko Sterling Silver
American sterling silver two-handled trophy cup, belonged to the president Bush's family. It has an engraved inscription "The Links President's Cup 1968" on the front and "Won by Prescott S Bush Jr." - on the reverse side. The cup has an applied base and two hollow double-scroll form handles, accented with leaf elements. Marked 1201. Made by Ensko of New York, NY (1878-1970) - makers of quality sterling historic reproduction items.
This solid trophy is 5 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" wide across the handles and weighs 695.4 grams or 22.43 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
