Raised Solid Silver Pedestal Gadroon Bowl with Three Scrolling Leaf Feet c1820 13 Loth
Presented is a raised solid Silver pedestal gadroon bowl with three scrolling leaf feet c1820. This item is marked with a makers or assay mark of what I believe to be IC or JC 13 loth fine silver or .826 fine silver. American Standard sterling silver is .925 fine so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. It is in lovely condition with perhaps some push-in at center of bowl from pedestal post, some pin-prick dings, no monogram and only some fine scratches from gentle use and care. This is a beautiful antique piece and as well as a great find for the collector.
