Ornate Antique 1917 Gorham Sterling Silver Engraved Vase
Presented is a gorgeous, solid sterling silver vase made by Gorham in 1917. This antique piece is beautifully hand engraved along the top of the ruffled, flared rim and along the base with decorative scrolls and flowers. There is an old, original monogram on the base of the initials KAF. The monogram is very unobtrusive. This is a very ornate piece and would it could also be used as a deep fruit or centerpiece bowl.
The underside is marked with the Gorham hallmark, sterling and the scimitar sword date symbol for the year 1917.
This piece is in excellent condition and the engravings are crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
The vase measures 10 5/8 inches in diameter and is 8 inches tall.
