Large Ornate Floral Scroll Repousse Openwork Trumpet Vase Sterling Glass 1898
British sterling silver large ornate repousse openwork trumpet vase with floral and scroll decorations on the body with an empty scroll rimmed shield or cabochon as well as ribbed upper rim. The vase features a cranberry red glass liner. Made by William Gibson & John Langman of London 1898. Features retailer marks from Goldsmiths Company of London.
This stunning trumpet vase measures 4 5/16" in diameter, 9 3/4" tall, and weighs 7.2 ozt without the liner.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
