Description
In this listing is one (1)CAROLBRASS STENCIL: MANCHESTER BRASS CUSTOM RL-GB BFLAT, MEDIUM LARGE BORE TRUMPET, which is LACQUERED and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION.
The Manchester Brass RL-GB trumpet is the brainchild of
Austin Custom Brass of Kansas City, MO
., which is the exclusive distributor of this trumpet.
I purchased this Manchester Brass RL-GB trumpet in October 2018. I have played this trumpet approximately 40 hours total. It has been used solely for practice, and it has never left my non-smoking residence.
The
Manchester Brass RL-GB trumpet
is a very responsive instrument and it has great stainless steel valve action. The trumpet has an open sound due to its "72-type flare" and sounds good in the lower and higher register.
This is a professional grade trumpet identified by:
(1) its B-flat nominal .460 Medium Large Bore. The trumpet is the lightweight design that is in vogue today.
(2)
its lightweight, large flare 5” gold brass bell (akin to a Bach 72 bell).
(4) its reversed main tuning slide with brass leadpipe.
The leadpipe and main tuning slide are in outstanding condition. They are exceptionally clean.
(5) its stainless steel valves with nylon valve guides. The valves
are in outstanding condition.
(6) its
nickel inner
tuning slide tubes.
(7) its nickel trim.
(8) its D-squared brass main tuning slide.
(9) its 1st valve slide thumb hook.
(10) its nickel plated 1st and 3rd valve slide water keys that are in outstanding condition.
(11) the bell and bell flare area that are in outstanding condition.
(12) the lacquer finish and the body of the trumpet, which are in
OUTSTANDING CONDITION.
The trumpet is in remarkable condition and the following minor imperfection does not affect its efficiency and productivity:
(1) T
here is a very small "mute ding" on the bell flare located at about 6:00 O'Clock at about 1 1/2" from the bell rim as you view it from the main tuning slide area. The ding is very hard to see and the trumpet has to be manipulated in strong light to be able to see it.
Prior to this listing, I gave the trumpet a bath in Polmolive Oxy soap and water. I greased all the threads and slides and re-oiled the valves with Ultra
Pure valve oil. I then put a modicum amount of Ultra
Pure valve oil into the leadpipe and blew the oil through the trumpet. Finally, I hand polished the trumpet with a rouge polishing cloth.
There is no case included with this auction.
The trumpet will be wrapped in bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts and it will be well protected. I use the protocols recommended by the Bob Reeves website and the Dr. Valve website.
I SHIP TO THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY.
I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY.
This is an AS-IS AUCTION. The buyer bears the responsibility for the shipping charges. There will be no refunds given nor will returns be accepted.
The final responsibility for buying a used trumpet falls upon the buyer's shoulders.
