Art Nouveau La Pierre Sterling Silver Overlay Green Glass 3" Vase, c. 1910

This listing is for a lovely miniature Sterling Silver overlay Art Glass vase, c. 1890-1910.
The green glass body is hand blown glass encased with elaborate La Pierre Sterling Silver overlay design that covers the entire body with a silver collar and band around the bottom. The vase has a large leaf-shaped cartouche at the center of the lower body for monogram (unused). Engraved on the bottom ring with the trademark stamp of the La Pierre Mfg. Co. in business in New York NY from 1888 until 1929 when they were absorbed into the International Silver Company. Also stamped "Sterling" although both the marks are worn and hard to spot.
Measures 3" high with a 1 7/8" diameter top and a 3 3/4" diameter base. Weighs 9.5 ounces.
Both the glass body of the vase and the silver overlay are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws although there are some faint scratches around the base from normal wear.
