ART NOUVEAU GREEN ART GLASS 10" VASE, STERLING SILVER OVERLAY

This listing is for a STUNNING green Art Glass vase decorated with a Sterling Silver overlay design, c. 1890-1910. The vase has an elongated corset shape with the silver design featuring fully opened roses and buds with foliage and covers a majority of the glass. The upper rim and edge of base are covered with a ring of silver. There is a fancy 2-letter monogram "C S" in the design on the front below the open rose.
Although we did not find the Sterling stamp on this vase, we do guarantee that this vase is Sterling Silver overlay.  We believe it was made in the U.S. by Gorham, Alvin or one of the other prominent silver companies operating in the U.S. at the turn-of-the-century.
Measures 10" high with a 3" diameter base. Weighs 1.3 pounds.
This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to either the glass or the silver.
