This is one of the new acquisitions of antique hunting in France An impressive wax seal. Heavy weight, silver on bronze. The matrix has a beautiful monogram. This beauty dates back to the early 1800s and is possibly a treasure of the Palais Royal in Paris due to its quality. Weight is: 107 grams. Dimensions approx. High: 4 inches (= 10 cm). This is truly a beautiful piece of craftsmanship as you can see. It is a wax stamp with all movement. The beautiful dancing elegant lady (possibly a Greek goddess) with an amphora jar in her hand and her dress beautifully draped in front of her body with a bare leg, placed on a beautiful pedestal. Everything is styled so perfectly.
