1928 CG Conn 2B Trumpet As Is

Up for auction is a 1928 CG Conn 2 B trumpet . These are beautiful horns . Wonderful players for both classical and jazz ! I have been thinning my collection out slowly . Lots of lovely old cornets and trumpets.
This one is a beauty but it will need some work to get to its full potential. Cosmetically it’s in great shape . Whoever owned this prior to me decided to use a heavy duty bearing compound or something on the interior and it has affected the valves and slides . I have had my technician do whatever he possibly can short of a complete rebuild , just to make it functional. Overall it’s great horn with a wonderful warm yet powerful sound. Just needs a bit of TLC . Great for a collector or a student or even a pro level player.
Does not come with original case . I have an old Olds case that fits it alright though . That’s what it’s pictured in. Case is in decent shape. Comes with a Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece .
